What size bottle can I get delivered?
Rockgas Manawatu can refill 9kg cylinders on site. Just come into our store to find out more. Delivery exchange options are for 45kg LPG gas bottles, 15kg and 19kg Commercial Forklift cylinders.
Is there any risk of an explosion with the Rockgas gas bottles?
Don’t worry. Our bottles are designed to withstand huge amounts of pressure and heat. Even in an intense fire, the cylinders will not explode. Our gas bottles are carefully maintained and rigorously tested. We even leak-test your hoses and connections during each delivery. Safety comes first here at Rockgas Manawatu.
If I smell gas, who should I call?
Smelling LPG is not always a sign of direct danger. There can be several reasons for the smell, but it is always better to be on the safe side. Call us on 06 323 4252 or a registered gas fitter right away if you smell gas while on your property.
Do I own the bottles or am I renting them?
Rockgas customers rent the LPG gas bottles. We are responsible for maintaining and delivering them, which ensures the safety of the gas bottles.
What if I’m not home when the gas delivery driver arrives?
Yes, we still deliver even if you are not home. Our team will get in touch with you if they need to, but otherwise, they’ll deliver your gas as normal. If you have a gate code, we will need to know this. If there is a dog onsite, please make sure it is secured.
What happens if a gas bottle gets stolen?
If gas bottles are lost, damaged or stolen, please ring our Customer Care team right away on 06-323 4252. You are responsible for the cost of the cylinders rented from us, but if the bottles get stolen your insurance should cover the cost.
There is a dog on the property. Does this affect my delivery?
If there’s a dog around when we deliver your gas, we need to know about it. You’ll have to ensure your dog is inside or secured in a run or with a leash when we arrive. If a dog isn’t restrained, it can lead to incidents and problems that can easily be avoided. If you sign up for gas delivery with Rockgas Manawatu and there’s a dog onsite, please do not forget to mention it.
